hiii

sooo you may have noticed things look a lil different. doing another redesign to reflect current creative priorities. and this includes ressurecting the bloggy :3

why bother? a few reasons:

1. i don't wanna delete the one thing that's on this part so i gotta justify this section somehow

2. there's stuff i'd wanna talk about that may be too long for site updates

3. there's stuff that wouldn't fit for a full working title that i still wanna do scratch that, found a different way i want to handle this specifically

so expect some more stuff over here. not too much. but something.

an update, but longer

finished nano a day early! has that translated to any work done? weeell...

started a bunch of new things. a few things are in playtesting. most things are still in progress. so.

has this been helpful? a little bit. in some ways. i wish i had more that was actually complete and ready to go. but that being said, i did get a lot of work done. and i feel vindicated in my belief that writing every day is not for everyone lol

when will a new game be finished? i don’t know. i’ve got a shitty zine coming out though lol. just gotta figure out how to fill in the bits and bobs for itch.io.

so what does post-nano look like?

1. i’m gonna get a writing schedule sorted out so i’m working more consistently. whether that’s weekly or monthly or whatever, point is it should be consistent. every day isn’t good for me but being on a schedule without a super hard deadline was helpful. like yeah i had to do 50k in a month but no specific project done in a month, you know? so a deadline, but not really.

2. i’m ditching the nano blogs. like i wrote plenty but i never posted them. posting them just kinda gets in the way of me actually writing. so we’re just not gonna do that anymore going forward, and i’m probably gonna delete both of the old ones since i don’t think they’re that great.

3. i wanna make more zines! making my little mediocre art zine was fun. i wanna do more!

4. new pen name! i’ve finally committed to a new pen name for certain works. i might set up a few pages to test how i want the other name’s website to look before i commit to setting anything up. i’d wanna upgrade to supporter tier so i could make an entirely separate website but i don’t want to do that until i actually have something by them finished and ready to show off.

there's probably more to say but i am suddenly very sleepy so i might come back and update this post tomorrow lol night everybody
